यह परीक्षा 04 मई से 25 मई 2021 तक लिखित रूप में होनी थी, जिसे बोर्ड ने कोरोना के कारण रद्द कर दिया है. अब इस परीक्षा का सीधा परिणाम जारी किया जाएगा। उत्तराखंड माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड ने कहा है कि यह परिणाम जुलाई में जारी किया जाएगा और सभी का परिणाम पूरी तरह से निष्पक्ष जारी किया जाएगा। बोर्ड ने यह फैसला सभी छात्रों के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए लिया है.
